Navigating Law School Applications and Admissions
Advising Beyond the Website

I am not an LSAT tutor, though I am happy to guide you to test-prep agencies and talk through your test-taking options.

My services would be comprised of providing guidance and feedback re: essays, resume review and general application navigation.

If you would like to schedule a time to talk for purposes of determining whether or not you would benefit from individually tailored advice and guidance, please send an email inquiry to: carrierusselljdsherpa@gmail.com

If, after meeting, you would like to work together on securing admission to the best Law School for you, some service options include:

-
Brainstorming for Essay Content/Personal Statement Topics
-
General Advising Guidance Q&A
-
Document Review (Resume, Personal Statement, Optional Essays, etc.)
-
Narrowing down your Application lists
-
Scholarship Negotiation Guidance
-
Introducing you to Attorneys, Judges and Fellow Law Students
However I can best help you fulfill your professional goals...
In general, carte blanche advising and document review services will reflect a $100/hour payment schedule.
Specialized packages (i.e. walking you through the process from start to finish) are also available, with the cost determined by the number of schools to which you choose to apply and the need for substantial (vs marginal) assistance in crafting and editing your essays.
If you chose a more specialized package, you and your application cycle would be my primary focus - I will only take on a limited number (no more than 20) advisees per application cycle.
An example package might include:
-
Pre-Law advising re: Personal Statement and Optional Essay topics
-
Content/grammar/syntax editing of essays
-
Resume review
-
Application Checklist review
-
Law School application decision-making (how many schools, which ones)
-
Scholarship negotiation and Letters of Continued Interest
-
Celebrating You upon your admission to Law School!
